New Airport Rail Link
Strategic advice to Edinburgh Airport Limited in connection with the development of a rail link from Edinburgh City Centre to Edinburgh International Airport (£750m). Management and co-ordination of key parties including town planning, legal advisors, technical and risk experts.
K2 Managed the development of an objection to the parliamentary Bill which was subsequently upheld. This ensured that the airport received satisfactory assurance and protection against potential risk and disruption.
We also carried out technical reviews of the proposed plans and advised the airport how to manage potential impacts to their operations.
