Hale Village
K2 was appointed early in the development to provide Strategic Project and Development Management services to a mixed use scheme, to include the delivery of new homes, retail opportunities, health care facilities and fitness centre. As the project developed K2 services were expanded to deliver construction management of the infrastructure.
K2 is working in partnership with Lee Valley Estates in delivering a new mixed-use scheme, which includes 1,210 new homes, 32,000sqft of offices, a primary school, student accommodation, a local supermarket, shops, restaurants and cafés, a 100-bedroom hotel, community health centre, fitness centre and crèche.
The development is the first major regeneration project in Haringey and is a key scheme to the major’s plan for London. The project challenges are many, some of which include – high density development, 25 storey tower, remediation of a contaminated site, removing historic air raid shelters, constructing over the Victoria line, constructing adjacent major rail intersection, canals and waterways, etc…
