Peepul Centre
The Peepul Centre is a new multicultural community venue funded by multiple agencies including the Millennium Commission, Sport England, Arts Council, Big Lottery Fund and Leicester City Council.
K2 coordinated the development of the brief, funding, appointments, design team management, procurement strategy and stakeholder management. The scheme incorporated a central atrium with floating staircase, a cyber café, dance studio, community wing with children development centre, training and development spaces, wellness centre and auditorium/lecture theatre.
