Our direct client SITA was commissioned to design and install a series of airport systems as part of the newly constructed Terminal 2 and Pier E at Dublin Airport.
The systems included:
- Security Access Control System
- CCTV and Digital Recording System Security Search Systems
- Electronic Displays System
- Telephony System Common Antennal Television System
- Distributed Antenna System (Cellular)
- Distributed Antenna System (Radio)
- Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) System
- Master Clock System
- Local Area Network (LAN) system
- Operation Control Centre Audio Visual System
- Internet Check-In Scanning System
- Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) Systems
Our role provided project management support to SITA who had not previously undertaken a project which required them to act as a single provider of all of these airport systems. We provided a planning manager to produce and integrate each of the specialist package programmes as well as a senior commercial manager to procure and negotiate each of the trade packages. The project was carried out under the NEC3 form of contract.
