Worthing Hospital
Working with the Trust and the SHA K2 produced the ‘Full Business Case’ (FBC) upon which an investment decision to decant and develop a space within the heart of the hospital was made.
As Project Managers and client representative K2 then devised a fast-track strategy to procure and deliver two new ward spaces within 6 months. The new wards will provide spaces for 40 new beds.
The £3.6million scheme is an initial part of a larger hospital masterplan that K2 have assisted the Trust in developing across its sites at Worthing and Southlands featuring:
- Centralisation of Orthopaedics at Worthing
- Centralisation of Elderly Care at Worthing
- Centralisation of Day Surgical Services at Worthing
- Relocation of support staff to Worthing from Southlands
