WTM Sheerness
Port of Sheerness is a major port on the East coast of England and is ideally located as a base for Wind Turbine Manufacturers (WTM) who are looking to capitalise on the areas of Off Shore Wind Farms allocated by the Crown Estate. K2 were appointed to assist in negotiations with the major manufacturers and develop the most economical infrastructure solution for extending and strengthening quays, infilling behind quays and reinforcing the existing land to facilitate construction or roads, rail links, manufacturing building, assembly areas etc.
K2 are providing project and cost management services which currently involve procuring the design and planning teams and working with potential WTM’s to agree the cost effective of meeting their needs.
