Fundraising for the Light House Construction Industry Charity

The #makeitvisible campaign

A few members of the K2 team, Sean Derrick, Paul Franklin, Paolo Stewart, Kieran O’Donnell, Chris Taylor and David Lane visited Palmersport in Bedfordshire last week  to represent K2 for a day of fundraising at the Construction Industry Motor Racing event hosted by Wilson James.

The purpose was to raise money and awareness of mental health in construction in partnership with The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity and their #makeitvisible campaign. The charity’s mission is to ensure that no construction worker or their family feels alone in a crisis and that they receive the support they need before it’s too late. This crucial campaign seeks to make welfare and wellbeing support visible on every construction site and we are pleased to have been able to support this.

A massive thank you to @WilsonJames for inviting us along on this memorable day. We’re delighted that collectively over £30,000 was raised during this event for the Lighthouse Charity.
