The project is a new development on the site of an existing car dealership. The project requires the demolition of the existing facility, land clearance and development of a new facility for Jardines Motor Group – a Porsche dealership.

The current development proposal is for a car sales, repair and storage development. The development will consist of an 18 car showroom for Porsche, the workshop will accommodate circa 14 workshop bays, 2 specialist work bays, and 2 MOT bays. In addition, there will be a car valet facility.

The construction budget for this project is circa £8M with an anticipated planning application submission in late May 2016 and a completion date of August 2017.

K2 have been retained to provide full project management and commercial management services.

This site provides challenges due to ground contamination and flood risks as well as being constrained by the adjacent developments and environmental issues. K2 have managed an extensive survey programme to inform both the planning application and design, including ecology, archaeology, arboriculture, geo technical and asbestos
