Healthcare
Working with consultants Bryden Wood K2 are supporting the NHS in delivering 48 hospitals, including eight Pathfinder Projects with strategic programme management services and MMC consultancy.
The NHP has a clear ambition to deliver these projects differently including using standardised designs, the extensive use of MMC and digital technologies.
Together with the team we are creating a hospitals playbook, a blueprint for both the design and delivery of the hospital of the future. This will promote the use of standardisation and MMC and the importance of introducing design for manufacture and assembly (DfMA) at the earliest stage possible. This will also influence how net zero policy is baked into a project’s planning from the outset.
The New Hospitals Programme is highlighted in the Transforming Infrastructure Programme: Roadmap to 2030, and provides the opportunity to standardise and deliver programmatic benefits across the 48 projects within the programme – thereby realising the full potential for MMC approaches.
